The Marine Strike Group attached to the Starlord, named the Snow Vipers, are an elite team of STARFLEET Marine Special Forces. The Snow Vipers, the 725th MSG, utilizes a modified runabout which fits in the belly of the Starlord to drop the Strike Group where ever they need to be.

Each Marine in the Strike Group has a specific responsibility to the group. A few of the listed responsibilities of the 725th MSG are the Drop Ship Pilot, a small contingent of Combat Engineers, and a Special Operations Unit Leader.
